Online & Telehealth Psychologist Sydney

Online therapy: A convenient way to look after your mental health from home.

Face-To-Face Sessions Not For You?

When you need support with your mental health and wellbeing, it's not always easy to access the right type of support and get in touch with an experienced and registered practitioner. Mental Health services may be a fair way away from where you live, wait times can be long, and in the end, you may not find the ‘right’ practitioner to support you on your mental health journey.

Whether you need help with relationships, parenting, navigating issues at work, or support with your general mental wellbeing, online therapy may be a worthwhile option for you. Traditional face-to-face support is no longer the only option available, accessing therapy online and by phone means that mental health support is now more accessible than before - allowing for people to connect with a broader range of mental health practitioners, even those practicing outside of their local areas, so that they have more chance of connecting with the practitioner that is going to be ‘right’ for them and experienced in the areas that they are experiencing difficulty.

Meet The Online Counselling Revolution

Online psychology has revolutionised mental health care by making it more accessible and convenient for people who would like help along their mental health care journey.

With the rise of online psychologists and online counselling services, people no longer have to travel long distances to see a therapist or worry about prioritizing and scheduling their appointments around their other life commitments.

Online counselling provides people with a greater degree of flexibility and convenience in their treatment, allowing them to access mental health support from the comfort of their own home or office.

This is particularly advantageous for those who live in remote or rural areas, where mental health services may not be readily available or accessible. This is also advantageous for those seeking experienced and registered culturally-aware mental health practitioners.

At Level Headed Psychology, we provide support to people both in Sydney and other states. We provide services online and by phone - making it easier for people to access appropriate mental health support. Our online service also means we provide appointments after-hours and on weekends - giving our clients more opportunity to prioritize their mental health needs around their other life commitments.

How Does Online or Telehealth Psychology Work?

Being able to connect with an online therapist may be a helpful option for many people.

There is a growing body of research evidence supporting the effectiveness of online therapy. You can have similar outcomes of therapy, whether it be face-to-face or by phone or online. Only therapy services have expanded in recent years, in an effort to make mental health support more accessible than ever.

Online therapy can be accessed from anywhere, as long as you have a stable internet and phone connection, and a quiet private space to talk. It can be a great option for people seeking mental health support, and wanting to access a wider range of qualified therapists than what is available to them in their local area.

There are a number of rebates available for online or telehealth psychology services. Please see Fees & Rebates page for more information.
