Don’t Suffer In Silence

At Level Headed Psychology, we understand that seeking help for mental health issues can be daunting, and sometimes finding the time to attend face-to-face counselling sessions can be difficult.

For some, chronic pain or other disabilities may mean that taking care of yourself means staying at home when you can. For others, finding the time to squeeze in your next session between work, and family commitments can seem impossible, causing even more stress.

However, putting your well-being first is always a great step to take, and with today’s technology, it doesn’t mean you have to give up on caring for yourself and meeting your own needs.

  • For clients with private health insurance, their sessions may or may not be covered as it will depend on the specifics of their coverage, so it’s recommended to check with the insurer.

  • Clients pay via electronic transfer through our scheduling platform, Halaxy. Payment is automatically processed at the time of the appointment.

For NDIS clients, we can offer therapeutic sessions for self-managed or plan-managed clients.

The Benefits of Online/Telehealth Counselling

There are many benefits to online or phone counselling, including:

Convenience— Online or phone counselling allows you to access therapy from the comfort of your own home, without the need to travel to a therapist's office. This can be particularly helpful if you have mobility issues, live in a rural area, have young children or have a busy schedule.

Accessibility— Online or phone counselling can make therapy more accessible to people who might not otherwise be able to access it, for example, people who have disabilities that make it difficult to leave the house.

Flexibility— Online or phone counselling can be more flexible than traditional in-person therapy, as it allows for sessions to be scheduled outside of normal business hours and can be conducted from anywhere with an Internet or phone connection.

Overall, online or phone counselling with an online therapist can provide a convenient, accessible, and flexible way to access therapy that can be just as effective as traditional in-person therapy.
