Douha is a psychologist who takes great pride in being able to support clients in realizing their own strengths, and bearing witness to them making meaningful changes in their lives.

Douha believes that receiving quality care can have a ripple effect on a client’s family, their workspace as well as their wider community.

Over the years, Douha has held a number of different roles across both the government and non-government sectors. She has worked with children right through to older adults, and so has come to appreciate the different challenges that clients may experience as they journey through life.

Douha has had experience supporting clients facing a number of difficulties including, but not limited to, depression, anxiety, complex trauma, grief & loss, parenting, addiction, workplace conflict and relationship issues.

Douha also has a particular reverence for supporting and working with clients that care for their loved ones who are experiencing issues of mental health, disability and addiction.

• Bachelor of Science (Psychology) (USYD)
• Graduate Diploma of Psychology (WSU)
• Master of Psychology Practice (Clinical) (ACAP)
• Graduate Diploma of Family Dispute Resolution (near completion)
• Registered with the Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA)

Sarah El-Assaad

Sarah is a counsellor who strives to provide a safe, reflective and healing space for her clients. She holds space for her clients to allow them to fully delve into their experience, and uncover areas for healing, growth and possibility.

Sarah believes that counselling can be transformative, and often reflects on the changes her clients have been able to effect in their own lives, after their sessions.

Sarah’s work history is a testament to the breadth of her experience. She has had the privilege of working with clients across different settings including schools, corporate and not-for profit organizations. She has worked with both adolescents and adults, helping them move towards engaging in their worlds with the strength, resilience and self-efficacy so that they might be their most integrous, self-actualised and congruent selves.

Sarah is also passionate about delivering group coaching sessions and educational workshops.

• Registered with Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA)
